It is never easy to lose someone as special as Ms. H was to so many of us. Of all the great role models I have had throughout my life, she was one of the very best. She taught me to find the courage within myself to speak up against things that were not right. She supported my decisions and always made sure I was safe. Decades later, I teach others to find their courage the same way that she taught me. And, if it was not for her, I would also not have met one of my dearest friends, Karen Dixon. She knew we would be friends for life...and she was right. Thanks for everything Jackie...hugs up to Heaven.
