HENDRIKS, Jackie -
Passed away on April 14th, 2015 at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton. She unfortunately caught C. difficile while she was nearing the end of her cancer treatments. Jackie is predeceased by her father Gerardus, her mother Wilhelmina, her sister Mary and her brother John. She is survived by her longtime friend of 42 years, Jaye Dagenais. She will be dearly missed by her 9 nieces and nephews. Jackie leaves many wonderful colleagues at St. Martin's Secondary School, who enriched her life. She always cherished the privilege of teaching so many young men and women. She loved her job. Her funeral will take place on Saturday, May 2nd at St. John the Evangelist Church on 903 Giffard Street, Whitby at 11 am. Reception to be held after the service at the W.C. Town Funeral Chapel, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby. Donations in Jackie’s memory can be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation.
