Condolence From: Helen Pace
Condolence: It is never easy to lose someone as special as Ms. H was to so many of us. Of all the great role models I have had throughout my life, she was one of the very best. She taught me to find the courage within myself to speak up against things that were not right. She supported my decisions and always made sure I was safe. Decades later, I teach others to find their courage the same way that she taught me. And, if it was not for her, I would also not have met one of my dearest friends, Karen Dixon. She knew we would be friends for life...and she was right.
Thanks for everything Jackie...hugs up to Heaven.

Condolence: I feel truly blessed to have known Jackie Hendriks. She was my coach, teacher, and friend. I know I speak for many of her students and athletes when I say she was special. She had a great sense of humour and an infectious laugh and gave so much of herself at every turn. She cared about each and every one of us, as though we were her children. We couldn't have asked for a better role model and mentor. We will always be grateful and we'll keep her memory alive in our hearts. ~ Karen Dixon

Condolence: Like so many others I was a huge admirer of Jackie's. I coached basketball @ Loyola for many years vs Jackie & Jaye. We had many great games through the years. J & J were always my coaching heroes ... Competitive, classy, caring & loving to their student-athletes & all who knew them.
I am very sad to hear of her passing. Heaven has a great coach up there looking for her next golf game,
We will miss you Jackie, My sympathies Jaye & family.

Condolence: We are all so, so sad to have to say good bye to "The Awesome Lady." Awesome teacher, awesome coach, awesome colleague, awesome friend - just plain awesome in all aspects of her life. Jackie, you will always live in our thoughts and prayers. But mostly you will live on in our hearts and the hearts of all the students and athletes that you and Jaye so carefully mentored. Jackie you are a legend and we will always love you. Sue

Condolence From: Donna-Lynn Rosa (Donnie)
Condolence: Miss H. inspired me to be better - at sport, at school, at being a friend and at being a better person. She expected it and gave it back, and she never wavered from her high standard. As a coach she pushed us, and she supported us. As a teacher she guided us and loved us. As a friend she always kept me laughing. She seemed to know what I was thinking (scary) and when I wasn't heading the right way, she gently (or not so gently) guided me back on my path. I am forever grateful for the lessons and love from Jackie and Jaye, two of my role models in life and two amazing women!!! Donnie
