Donata Bertolin

I was a student of Mr.Barone’s Grade 7 class at St. Anthony’s... At the end of the year, I had the highest grade and in front of the class he presented me with a beautiful trophy, inscription read my name, Honour Student Grade 7. To this day it sits in my wall unit in my dining room. He was my favourite teacher...he showed us how to love education. Another classmate (the late Vincent Marcella) and I visited Mr.Barone and Norma many years ago and I still have the bottle of his wine. I wish I had known of his passing so I could come to pay my respects to a great person and sincere gentleman. To his family my sincere condolences. Donata Bertolin
