Peacefully passed away at Kipling Acres on Saturday, January 6, 2018. Mary Fenech in her 90th year, dearly beloved wife of the late Joseph. Dear mother of Joe (Anne), Doreen (Tony), Robert (Madlyn), Margaret (Tom), Diane, Louise (Sean) Paul, and Maryellen (Dan). Loving grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Mary was an active member of St. Benedict Church community and will be fondly remembered by her sisters of the Magnificat. Mary was a dedicated volunteer at Kipling Acres for 10 years, accompanying residents to the weekly Mass and acting as Eucharistic Minister. In December 2009, Mary became a resident of Kipling Acres. Over the years, she made many friends and was a valued part of the community. One of her favorite pastimes was attending bingo with her fellow residents. The family would like to thank the staff at Kipling Acres and her caregivers for their compassionate care and enriching Mary’s daily life. Resting at the NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue, (North of Rexdale Blvd.) from Monday 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Benedict Church, 2194 Kipling Avenue, Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 10am. Interment Assumption Cemetery.
