I am very saddened by Mary's passing and regret not being able to attend her memorial service last week. Mary was a thoughtful, intelligent and compassionate woman who touched the lives of many........family, friends, her church community, countless students, and both staff and residents at Windbourne Park residence. I admired Mary's resilience and courage as she weathered many losses and challenges in her life. In spite of these, she continued to find hope and joy in the people and world around her and rose above her difficulties. I always enjoyed her poetic references and her skill with words. I would like to have had one more conversation and one more game of scrabble with Mary. She remains in my heart. My deepest condolences to her family.
