Condolences

Condolence From: Al Banks
Condolence: I met Ed at All-Canada when I started there in 1989 and although he was exactly 28 years my senior (we were both born May 16) he treated me with his typical class - and as a colleague and friend - from day one. Attended many Jays (Openers especially) and Leafs games together for many years. His words of wisdom were many and included (funny) that our media sales jobs were "better than stealing hubcaps" and (serious) that "you never have to look too far to find someone worse off than you." My favourite Ed stock line was that he would wait until a sales meeting was 2 or 3 minutes late to start and he'd bellow "what time does the 8:30 meeting start today?" When describing someone he liked he would always say they were a "solid citizen" - but of course none were more solid than Ed. So very sad to hear he's gone but very happy to have known him.
Sincere condolences to Ed's family and friends.

Condolence: Dear Auntie Irene and Family
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.
We have many pleasant memories from our visits with you and Uncle Ed.
We looked forward to his great barbeques as he was second to none at grilling.
He was very proud of his flowers and the elegant Chestnut tree in the backyard corner.
He will be sorely missed.

Condolence From: Bewcyk Family
Condolence: It is with our deepest sympathy and sorrow for the lost of your husband and father Ed.
It brings back great memories of the good times we had when we were your back yard neighbours, and since then, it has been heart warming to keep in touch at Christmas time after we moved to Bolton.
Our heart felt condolences to Jim, Tom, Bob and their families from Stephen, Brian & Katherine.

Condolence From: Barbara Elliott (Banks)
Condolence: Dear Irene,
I am so sorry about the loss of Eddie. I have such fond memories of both of you and the Chez Moi crowd - the parties with Gord/Shiela Foster, Frank/Marilyn Cawkell, Eddie/Yvonne Teresio, Grant/Donna Ellins, Danny/Barb Ford, Dave/Irene Crichton and of course Alastair and I.
I also have fond memories of the many years that Eddie called on me at Hayhurst - the stories told by the two Eddies and Gary Buss that would have me in tears from laughing.
He was a great guy, my sincerest sympathy to you and your family.

Condolence From: Wojtowicz Family (in Australia)
Condolence: It is with our deepest sympathy and sorrow that we express our sadness for the loss of Ed. A larger than life character, with his warm beaming smile and thunderous laugh always brought wide grins to our faces. A very generous and kind man, he will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. Sorry we cannot be there in person to pay tribute but know we are thinking of you and Ed is in our hearts and minds.

- Kevin, Karen and Taya Wojtowicz (Brisbane, Queensland, Australia)

Condolence From: Joanne Vessio-Crivellaro
Condolence: Ed was one of the first people I had met at All Canada during my first job ever in Advertising (about 1981). He was such a lovely, funny, giving and generous man. There was never a shortage of laughs...especially when he was paired with Ed Teresio. I was heartbroken to hear from another colleague that Ed was ill. And now I would like to send my most heartfelt condolences to his loving family - of which he was always so proud. Goodbye for now Ed...but I will be looking for you with that beautiful bow tie...on the other side. xoxo
