Condolence From: Bob & Anna Patterson
Condolence: To the whole family, our heartfelt condolences. We've known Mike for over 25 years, ever since he chased 'The Rebel' to Saranac Lake to check it out, just to discover that we lived about 30 km from each other. After purchasing his own kit to build, Mike was part of the Rebel group, as well as RAA, BFC, and even made a few trips to the York Soaring club. While building and later flying his airplane, Mike participated in most of the builders meetings and even had a couple of builder visits organized at his place. There were also meet ups at Oshkosh and Sun & Fun that often included family members that you just knew he was very proud/fond of. Mike's quiet demeanour, witty sense of humor, and one-liner replies, accompanied by a big smile, will stay with us. That smile never seemed to leave his face even when life was not so easy for him. Thank you Mike for being part of our lives. Blue skies, and keep smiling at us. .... Bob & Anna

Condolence: Dearest Louise - Thank you for sharing Mike with us at Sun N Fun so many years. I met you twice but Mike was part of my Sun N Fun family for at least 25 years. He helped me immeasurable with Student Tours and kept my daughter in line with a gentle tease or two. The world is a better place for his life, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. - Miss Kat
