Obituary for Michael Dowhaniuk

DOWHANIUK, Michael -
Peacefully passed away at Greenview Lodge on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the age of 94. Beloved husband of the late Rose Dowhaniuk nee McDonald (2000). Dear brother of Edward (Bernice), and uncle of Mark (Lada), Peter (Jacquelyn), Kim Brzoza, and Kari Walker of Houston, Texas. He will also be missed by his sisters-in-law Doreen (George) of Calgary and Linda (Paul) of Regina. Michael came from Ukraine in 1929 and was the pillar of the family. He worked for Canada Post for 25 years. Resting at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, A. ROY MILLER CHAPEL, 1695 St. Clair Avenue West (between Keele Street and Lansdowne Avenue) on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Nicola Di Bari Church, 1277 St. Clair Avenue West, on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 10 a.m. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.
