Condolence: Just as the "Leafs" have been doing so well, they've lost their devoted fan, my Auntie Sophie. She also outlived all of her siblings by a "country mile", but I'll always remember her as being someone who didn't take life seriously and became more of a friend and mentor as I grew older. She would come up with some interesting things to sew and create along with my Mother, her dear sister Hedy. They were always concocting something between them. They were also in disagreement with their favourite singers. Auntie Sophie was an Anglebert Humperdink fan and my Mother was the rival Tom Jones fan. It was all in good fun. Auntie Sophie loved Duke, their dog and fed him baby food. She also loved her cat, Princess, very much. Once, she even fell off of a ladder picking pears from a tree in her yard. She would attempt anything, even painting around the house. A "hands on" kinda gal and ahead of her time. She will leave a void in our lives now that she's not here to talk to and joke with, but the memories we share of her will keep our hearts full for generations to come.
