Condolence From: Frank Stotl
Condolence: Always positive and never wavered in his faith. Even when he lost his hearing he was still so positive and never questioned gods actions. We used to chat with Tony as he walked by our place on Dundas. He gave me some really great advice and always made me feel good after speaking with him. Plus he had a great sense of humor. Thank you Tony for sharing a bit of your life with us. Rest in peace, love and comfort to your family.

Condolence From: David Schembri
Condolence: So sorry to hear of Tony’s passing. Tony was a long time family friend and worked with my Dad at Whitby Psychiatric Hospital for 35+ years. In his retirement, we’d often see Tony walking downtown Whitby and we’d have a short but funny and warm conversation. I grew up around a lot of wonderful Maltese families in Whitby, all making a new life in Canada. The adults were all great role models and Tony was definitely one of them. He’d always leave us with a smile on our face. We’ll miss you “Tony the Tiger”! RIP
