To my beloved Father. Words can not tell the way I feel at this moment. But I certainly will try. I remember at an early young age where you bestowed into our souls a hard work ethic, and to love your family, neighbor's and friends. Love isn't just about nurturing, it's also about caring. Caring about the people who mean the most to you. You can certainly tell how much you were loved by all the condolences, texts we have all received, and the hundreds of Facebook postings from Ringtail Campground.
You worked tirelessly at many jobs to get ahead. To provide your family the best way possible. You then past that down to your family. Mom, Blair, Bryan and myself.
It started out cutting grass for our neighbor's in the summer and shoveling snow in the winter. Then doing paper routes all year long. Anything to teach us how to make a buck. You helped us by supplying the lawn mower and gas and the shovels. No snow blowers back then. When we got paid, you never took a dime from any of us. He said, "Take care of your fellow neighbor's and they will respect and take care of you when needed". That they certainly did.
"Respect your family, then they will respect you". That, we all certainly do.
Never got an allowance out of you, but you always gave us the best you had. You and mom helped start all our lives, educations, and homes. For that I will always LOVE you and mom.
She took care of you for the last several years, but that's because she loved you. 63 years of marriage, Congratulations. A lifetime fulfillment of dreams and accomplishments.
Dad, your on your way to your next life. As your son, I am truly very proud and honored to have been a part of your life.
To my mother, my dads soul mate and caregiver. I'm very proud of how you have taken care of each other over the years. I promise to bestow the same ethic within our own family. To my brothers, you guys are awesome in so many ways. Just remember, differences of opinion may temporarily set us aside, but together there is nothing we can't conquer.
Last and for not least. My DAD. May you join your family in your in your New Life. You deserve to be reunited. Heaven is going to have one heck of a party. At this time, let's all remember to celebrate my father's life like you all new him.
GOD BLESS YOU DAD!!
With all my LOVE, your son Daryl
