The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Marcello Facchini can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Edward Gyan
Condolence: Dear Coach Marcel

It is with sadness, tears and emotionally broken for me to be writting this farewell letter to you.

My deepest condolences to your family in this time of the deepest lesson in life.

You were Godsend to me and so many other kids as we were growing up. In addition to our parents, you also thought us how to love, how to share, how to be faithful, how to do so many things with bringing joy and smiles to others. Personally you also showed me the true meaning of both empathy and sympathy. Being teenagers and coming from troubled neighborhoods, being the angle that you are, you saw the good in us. For many years to come, not only did you pay for both my older brother Philip and I to play soccer, you also did it for many other kids. You kept us out of the streets by providing us with the needs to play the sport we all loved most and for this I will forever be grateful. Thank you for giving me the chance not only to be your sons friend but also allowing all of us to build memories with each other filled with great lesson which I shall also teach my kids.

You will always have a place in my heart, I will forever speak of your name, I will forever remember you whenever I play or speak of soccer. You are definetly one of my hero's because when I didn't have, you provided. Thank you for all the great lessons you thought me.

GOD BLESS YOU. MAY HE KEEP YOU. MAY HE PROTECT YOUR FAMILY.

UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN COACH. HAVE A SAFE JOURNEY. ANOTHER ANGEL IN GODS KINGDOM.

I LOVE YOU.. WE PRAY FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY…

Edward G.

Condolence From: QM
Condolence: Please accept my deepest condolences. It’s always a painful tragedy to lose a loved one in death. It saddens us to think that we may never see our loved one’s smile again or hear their laughter again. But God has promised all of us that one day death will not exist and that we will see our dead loved ones again. Revelation 21:4 says, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry. nor pain be anymore, the former things have passed away." I hope that this brings your family a measure of solace during this difficult time. If you have more questions about the Bible and its promises, please feel free to contact me.
