Life Story for Jone Yousif

Jone Yousif was more than a hard worker who wore his heart on his sleeve. More than a husband, a father, more than a brother, a son. He is loved by his family, friends, community, neighbours, and co-workers. If you knew Jone, you knew he loved his salads, bread, glass of whisky, and watching classic movies like the Godfather, Scarface, and Titanic. More importantly, you knew him as a man of steel, a man who worked hard and treated others with the utmost respect, without expecting anything in return. With a heart so pure, he was committed to giving his all to his family. His parents loved him and were proud to say, “Jone is my son”. And even though he had to leave Iraq and become a man at a very young age and live on his own to support his family back home, he valued maintaining a strong relationship with his parents, brothers, and sisters – joking with them and loving each other so dearly as if they had been living together their entire lives. When it came to having a family of his own, Jone made sure his beautiful wife and three well-raised children were taken care of – to him, this meant being a loving, supportive, and appreciative husband, partner and best friend to his wife as well as being a caring and compassionate father and a best friend to his children. Jone has left a positive and lasting impression on everyone in his life. Our dear best friend, he will always be remembered and loved, as his spirit lives on in our minds and hearts. His lovable smile, affectionate and warm hug, and contagious laugh will always be missed and never forgotten. Rest in Paradise Jone Yousif, an angel on earth and in Heaven.
