AYLLON, Dr. Rafael -
Dr. Rafael Ayllón-Galván MD, passed away peacefully at Christie Gardens in Toronto on Saturday January 20th 2018. Rafael the dearly beloved husband of Luisa and beloved father of Richard, Christina, and Paul (pre-deceased), and the dear father-in-law of Claudia and grandfather to cherished Madison. Treasured family and friends in Canada, Austria and Mexico include Kurt, Elfriede, Catherine, Mary Anne, Sylvie and the Osadchuk family. The family wishes to acknowledge the exceptional care provided by the wonderful team at Christie Gardens. He came from simple beginnings in Huetamo, Mexico. Rafael’s professional journey included Regina, New York City, Winnipeg, Toronto, Hamilton and then Montreal to become a trusted and devoted physician to his patients. He then provided tireless service to the Montreal Coroner’s Office before returning to Toronto in 2011. Rafael truly believed and demonstrated that with hard work and perseverance you can achieve all your goals. In accordance with his wishes, floral tributes are graciously declined. Resting at the NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue (North of Rexdale Boulevard), from 12 noon on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 with a funeral service in the chapel at 1pm.
