Obituary for Mario Bellisario

Mario Bellisario
BELLISARIO, Mario -
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Mario Bellisario. He was born in Le Trecce, Frosinone, Italy on July 8, 1941, and passed away peacefully at the Dorothy Ley Hospice in Etobicoke on Sunday, January 7, 2018. Devoted husband of Cathy of 50 years. Loving father of Lori (Nino Di Giorgio), Stephanie (Yaz Yadegari). Proud Nonno of Sophia, Anthony, Sebastian, and Mila. Cherished brother to the late Pasqualina (late Guido), Carlo (Christina), Rosa (John), Giovanna (late Domenico), and Tony (Vera). Dear brother-in-law to the late John (Phyllis) and beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Mario was a car enthusiast and an accomplished mechanic. He courageously battled numerous diseases throughout his life with an admirable strength and determination that will always be remembered. A special thanks to Dr. Marc Goldstein and Dr. Geoffrey Forbes for their years of dedication and support. Some of his most treasured moments included spending time with his grandchildren and being surrounded by family. His loss is immeasurable but so is the love left behind. Family and friends will be received at the NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, (North of Rexdale Blvd.), 2058 Kipling Avenue, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Transfiguration Of Our Lord Parish, 45 Ludstone Drive, on Thursday, January 11 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment Glendale Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or the Dorothy Ley Hospice. Online condolences at newediukfuneralhome.com
