MCLEAN, Ian Ross (1923 - 2017) -
Passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Veterans Center on Oct 8, 2017 at the age of 94. Predeceased by his wife Helen earlier this year. Survived by his daughter Hilary (Michael), his son Ian (Nancy) and son Simon (Anjali). Also survived by his grandsons David, William and Simon McLean. Ross was a war veteran, serving on a Frigate in the North Atlantic during the final years of World War ll. After the War Ross pursued a career in medicine, studying in Toronto and London, England. He had a long career practicing Cardiology in Calgary, Peterborough and Toronto. The family is very grateful for the outstanding care provided by the staff and Doctors at Sunnybrook Hospital. The family will receive friends for visitation at the NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, A. ROY MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1695 St. Clair Avenue West, Toronto on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 6pm-9pm.
