BONNER, Irene June -
Peacefully with her husband by her side, Irene (née Allan), formerly of Oshawa, Ontario, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017 at the age of 94 at Royal Victoria Health Centre, Barrie, Ontario. Beloved wife of Ted for 45 years. Loving mother of Mary Ann (the late Howard Edmondson), Francis (Cliff Standingready), Cathy (Rob Higgins), Betty (Paul McMinn), Allan (Heather Murphy) and Ralph (Debbie Murphy). Cherished grandmother of Lorna, Tracy, Pauline, Cathy, Kelly, John, Lee, Daniel, Kira, Brock and Brandon. Predeceased by her granddaughter Sandra Lee. Loved by her great-grandchildren: Jessica, Ashley, Erin, Nicole, Chloe, Grace, Harlow, Julie, Chantal, Amanda, Sierra, Christopher, Tyler, Matthew, Ryan, Logan, Kody, Cameron, Curtis, Jake, Bradley, Joshua, Austin and Brandon. Survived by her brother Warren Allan. Predeceased by her brothers Jack, Doug, Gordy, Howard, Bill and Buster. Irene’s family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the nurses and doctors of the 4th floor Cardiac and Renal unit for all of the compassionate care that Irene received. Visitation for family and friends will be held at W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby, on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 1 – 2pm followed by the Funeral Service beginning at 2pm. Interment at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and condolences may be expressed online at www.wctownfuneralchapel.com.
