Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in her 91st year after a life well lived. Eileen, wife of the late David (1998). Devoted mother to Sandy (Rob Whitfield) of Colborne, Terry (Bonnie) of Maple Ridge, B.C., John (Wendy) of Millbrook, and Karen (Paul Kozlenko) of Whitby. Amazing Nana to Tracy, Tammy (Jeremy), David (Gabby), Andrew (Annie), Rebecca (Mike), Joel, Kendra, Kristin (Jordan), Kim (Josh), Trevor (Jenna) & Melissa. Loving Great Nana to 10 great grandchildren. Eileen will be missed by extended family in England and Scotland. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors in the Palliative Care Ward at Lakeridge and Amanda and Tara from Paramed for their excellent care over the past two months. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 2 p.m. with reception to follow.
