VRANTSIDIS, Jim -
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, May 27, 2017 in his 83rd year. Loving husband of Angela for 54 years. Devoted father of Donna (the late George Leventakis), George, Nick and Julie (John Constantino). Proud Dedo of the late Bill, Eva, Voula, Jimma, Katina, Michael, Alexander, Sammy and great-grandfather of 6. Predeceased by his brother Natse. Prior to his retirement in 1997 Jim took great pride in being the dedicated owner of Chubby’s Restaurant in Rexdale. Jim enjoyed spending quality time with his grandchildren. They were often found walking the trails of Humber Valley. He enjoyed playing cards, visiting the seniors club and talking world politics. Resting at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue, Toronto (North of Rexdale Boulevard), on Tuesday from 2pm - 8pm. Funeral Service will be celebrated at Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 1 Brookhaven Drive, Toronto, on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 10am. Interment Glenview Memorial Gardens.
