FURGIUELE, Mafalda -
God called Mafalda peacefully on Monday, December 12, 2016 at the age of 87. Mafalda will always be remembered by her loving husband Alfonso. Cherished by her dear children, Carmela (Frank) Scolaro, Frank (Tatiana) and Ralph. Proud Grandmother to Claudia (Pierre), Nadia (Marco), Anthony and Andrew. Adoring “Nonnina” to Gianluca and Adriana. She is now reunited in Heaven with her brother Alfredo (Maria), sisters Yolanda (Eugenio) and Fiora (Giuseppe) and her many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy, extended family and friends. The family gives special thanks to the Doctors and Staff at St Joseph's Health Centre for the loving care and compassion they provided Mafalda in her final journey. Family and friends will be received at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue, Etobicoke, (North of Rexdale Boulevard), on Thursday, December 15th from 5 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Transfiguration of Our Lord Church, 45 Ludstone Drive, Etobicoke, on Friday, December 16th at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at Glendale Cemetery, 1810 Albion Road, Etobicoke.
