Obituary for Edward Yanush

YANUSH, Edward -
(May 16, 1934 - February 28, 2015)
It is with great sadness that we announce Ed's passing, at home surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife Irene (née Tomalski), sons Jim (Lori Waldbrook), Tom (Caroline Walker) and Bob. Treasured by his grandchildren Ian, Ben, Sierra, Georgia, Rhiannon and Genevieve. His ever-positive outlook and helpful nature will be greatly missed. Ed had a long career in television broadcast and advertising sales. He joined S.W. Caldwell Ltd. as a TV film editor in 1954 and went on to work with F.H. Hayhurst Co. Ltd. and McCann-Erickson as a television production assistant, and as a TV commercial producer at Ronalds-Reynolds. He retired in 1992 from Western Broadcast Sales. His love of travel, sports, crossword puzzles and gardening have inspired his children and grandchildren. Many will remember him as an enthusiastic sports fan and dedicated kids' sports coach. We will continue to explore the world, attempt to finish the crosswords and to keep his (and our) gardens up to his fine standards. We will cherish the laughter and memories he has given us forever.
