COLLISSON, Eric -
With grace and courage, Eric passed away on May 11th, 2014. Predeceased by his parents George and Anne, survived by his lovely wife Debra of 30 years, his brother Michael (Elaine), and his sisters Debbie (James) and May Lou (Andy). He will also be remembered by many other family members and friends. Quality of life was very important to Eric and even with a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, Eric with his wife continued to travel and enjoy what each day would bring. His career included radio announcer, radio engineer, chief/broadcast engineer and computer specialist. Eric was brilliant, he loved books and music and his knowledge of any subject matter was phenomenal. He could solve any problem be it technical and/or mechanical. He could design, build and repair anything. In other words, Eric was a master of all trades and he will be missed by all who knew him well. Visitation will be held at W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby on May 15th 2014 from 11am – 12pm followed by a memorial service at 12pm. Interment will follow at Groveside Cemetery, 5155 Baldwin Street, Whitby.
