Peacefully at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on Monday April 21st 2014 in his 94th year, surrounded by his loving family. James husband of the late Joyce. Loving father of: Margaret “Maggie” and her husband Michael Dawson, Frank and his wife Cynthia and Patty and her husband Andy Cluff. Cherished Grandfather of: Matthew & Megan Dawson; Kathleen, Laura & Rachel Mackey; Sean, Evan & Jennifer Cluff. Dear brother of Helen McIntyre and the late Mary, Frank, Camilla and Robert. A special thank you to cousin Teresa Jordan and Karen Felix & Liz Bascombe our Earth Angels for all their compassionate care and support. James will be fondly remembered by all his family and friends. Mr. Mackey will be resting at the W. C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby on Thursday, April 24th 2014 from 5 - 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Church, 903 Giffard Street, Whitby on Friday, April 25th 2014 at 12 noon. Interment St. John the Evangelist Cemetery.
