It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden death of James Michael (Jim) Flaherty on Thursday, April 10, 2014, at the age of 64. Jim was the loving husband of Christine Elliott and a proud father of their triplet sons: John, Galen and Quinn Flaherty. He will be lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters: David, Ted, Ann Gilmartin (Frank), Gerry, Patrick (Sylvie Lepage), Norah (Bob Levy) and Mary, and many nieces and nephews and extended family members. Visitation will take place at Abilities Centre, 55 Gordon Street, Whitby on Tuesday April 15, 2014 from 12:30-4:00pm and 6:30-8:00pm. The funeral service will be held at St. James Cathedral, 65 Church Street, Toronto on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 3:00pm.
