Called to God in her 95th year, peacefully at Lakeridge Health Port Perry on Tuesday January 7, 2014. Loving wife of the late Joseph Palmer and beloved mother of Ronald (Sharon), Gordon (Dianne) and Glenda Thorpe (Richard). Cherished Gramma to Ron (Stacey), Shawn (Lisa), Kimberly Stewart (Rob), Krystal (Neil), Jordon (Heather), Quinn (Jesse), Kelly Beatty (Brenden), Bryan Thorpe (Angela) and Great Grand children, Andrew, Joey, Meaghan, Andy, Kenny, Gregory, Kayden, Carter, Lilly, Owen and Ashley. Sadly missed by many friends and relatives. Many thanks to the staff of the Lakeridge Health Port Perry and Sunnycrest Nursing Home Whitby. A Celebration of Life will be held at W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL on Saturday, March 22nd 2014 from 1:30 – 4:30pm. Cremation with interment at St. John’s Norway.
