It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Moira Healy on Thursday July 12 at the age of 79. Ever loving wife of Tony for 56 wonderful years who passed earlier this year, wonderful mother of John, Deirdre, Kevin and his wife Jackie Swanson, Fiona and her husband Rob Pegoraro, Nuala and her husband Andy Ames. Doting “Muddy” of Kathleen, Patric, Sean, Thomas, Mary, Michael, Jonny, Joshua, Rachel, Wes and Jessie. Loyal sister to Joan Wickham and Patsy Morris (RIP). Moira was a well respected registered nurse, supportive parishioner of St. Benedict’s and proud daughter of Cavan, Ireland! Her love, wisdom, compassion and laughter will be greatly missed. Friends are invited to NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue, (North of Rexdale Blvd.) on Monday July 16, from 2 – 4 p.m and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday July 17 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Benedict’s Church at 2194 Kipling Avenue, Rexdale.
