Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Whitby on May 8th 2012 at the age of 88. Predeceased by his wife Lammertje (2008). Loved father of Marten (Janis), Hilda (Phil), John (Heather), the late Ralph (1968), Harold (Sandra) and Arlene. He will be remembered by grandchildren, great-grandchildren as well as extended family in Holland and church family. Special thanks to the doctors and staff of Lakeridge Health Oshawa and Whitby for their care. Family and friends will be received at the W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby, on Thursday May 10th 2012 from 2 – 4pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 11th 2012 at 12:00pm at Emmanuel Reformed Church, 401 Rossland Road West, Whitby, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment at Groveside Cemetery. If so desired, donations in Pete’s memory may be made to Emmanuel Reformed Church or to the charity of your choice.
